The squad comprises players from Mumbai, Gujarat and Vidarbha and would play three T20 games against North Zone, South and East as part of the 37th Sports Journalist Federation of India's convention which is being held concurrently.
The event, attended by more than one hundred sports journalists from across the country, is being organised by the Andhra Pradesh Sports Journalist Association with support from the Hyderabad Cricket Association.
The scribes would also take part in the table tennis tournament for the A K Bali trophy, Star Sports penalty kick competition, free throws competition in basketball and the FIFA World Cup quiz.
