The trust was established in 2001 with an aim to provide free medical facilities at the temple run super speciality hospital to the poor suffering from life threatening diseases, temple sources told PTI.
The devotee Kevin Sugumaran handed over DD for the amount to K S Srinivasa Raju, Joint Executive Officer of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, that governs the hill temple, they said.
Last week Shobhana Ramachandhran, Managing Director, TVS Srichakra Limited, Madurai, made an offering of Rs one crore here with a request to use the donation for a temple-run Trust managing a hospital meant for handicapped patients, they said.
