It had clocked net profit of Rs 32.05 crore in the July- September quarter of 2013-14.
Its revenue increased to Rs 283.26 crore in Q2 of the current fiscal as against Rs 253.44 crore in the year-ago period, up 11.77 per cent, Dhanuka said in a statement.
The company's Managing Director M K Dhanuka said: "During the quarter, despite weak rainfall, Dhanuka Agritech has achieved growth in its turnover and net profits. Our key products continue to perform well and gain market share."
The company has technical tie-ups with three American and four Japanese companies.
Dhanuka shares gained 5.64 per cent at Rs 511.60 apiece on the BSE in the late afternoon trade.
