Dhenkanal station manager crushed to death

A railway station manager was killed when a goods train ran over him during inspection of railway track in Odisha's Dhenkanal district early today, officials said.
The mishap took place when Pabitra Nayak (57), manager of Dhenkanal railway station, was inspecting a rescue operation after derailment of a train engine when the goods train from Talcher ploughed through him, station master S Kumar said.
The body has been sent for a post-mortem. The Government Railway Police is probing the incident.
