AMMK leader T T V Dhinakaran today dismissed his uncle V Dhivakaran's outbursts against him as "small comedies" and said they would not affect his goal of bringing back "Amma's (late chief minister Jayalalithaa) rule in Tamil Nadu.

"Such small comedies will not affect us. We are on our path to bring back Amma's rule and there is no question of an individual (raising questions against his leadership) and this is a massive people's movement," he told reporters here.

Dhinakaran had yesterday said Dhivakaran had nothing to do with the Amma Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (AMMK) beyond the fact that he is the brother of party general secretary V K Sasikala, jailed aide of Jayalalithaa.

Signalling escalation of the feud, Dhinakaran had said he was not answerable to anyone apart from the party chief.

Dhivakaran had on April 24 said he will not accept the AMMK (Dhinakaran's leadership) a "mushroom that grew only yesterday," or participate in the protests of that party.

AMMK has been holding a series of protests on the Cauvery issue.

Divakaran had also accused Dhinakaran of misguiding party workers and people by claiming things that were never said by Sasikala.

It was alleged by Dhinakaran's supporters that Dhivakaran was being pally with the AIADMK led by Chief Minister K Palaniswami and Deputy Chief Minister O Panneerselvam.

Meanwhile, senior AIADMK leader and Fisheries Minister D Jayakumar told reporters in Chennai that there was no question of admitting any member of the Sasikala's family into the party.

The ruling AIADMK has last year distanced itself from Sasikala and her family after revolting against the leadership of her and Dhinakaran.
