Terming Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the best captain India have ever produced, former national football team skipper Bhaichung Bhutia today said the wicketkeeper-batsman has it in him to help the country defend the cricket World Cup title in Australia.
"Dhoni is definitely the best captain India have ever had. I think he's going to win the World Cup this time as well," an overwhelmed Bhutia said here on the sidelines of a promotional event.
"We have won Twenty20 and 50-over World Cups under Dhoni. Hopefully they would do it again. When you start well, you finish well also. Obviously India are the favourites," the 38-year-old retired India footballer said.
The 'Sikkimese Sniper', who is currently doing a sports management course in Holland, however admitted that he's not able to follow every bit of the ongoing World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
"Seriously speaking it's difficult to analyse, I've not seen any match so far. I just keep travelling. Today also I could catch up with a couple of (Indian) overs at the airport.
