The alleged on-set tensions between "Furious 8" stars Dwayne Johnson and Vin Diesel seem to be continuing throughout the movie's press tour and the studio is reportedly keeping them apart.
When Diesel was promoting the new film at CinemaCon this week, Johnson's absence was noted upon, particularly as he was also at the convention promoting his other new movies, "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" and "Baywatch," The Hollywood Reporter said.
"They're keeping them separated as much as possible," a source says, intimating that the feud that started last year was still ongoing.
The beef between the two blockbuster action stars apparently began at the end of the filming of "Furious 8" last summer, when Johnson took to Facebook to seemingly have a swipe at the conduct of his colleague.
"My female co-stars are always amazing, and I love 'em. My male co-stars however are a different story," Johnson had posted.
Interestingly, the next time the two are contracted to appear together will be the red carpet premiere of the film on April 8 in New York City.
The movie, known as "Fast and Furious 8" in the United Kingdom, will release on April 14.
Directed by F. Gary Gray, it sees Diesel and Johnson reunite alongside Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson and Jason Statham, with Charlize Theron and Helen Mirren being newcomers to the cast.
