Diesel tanker overturns; disrupts traffic

A diesel tanker overturned near Hazaribagh National Park of the district today, spilling 4000 litres fuel worth Rs 2.5 lakh, the police said.
"The area has been cordoned off to prevent fire," Officer-in-charge of Ichak police station Navin Prasad said.
The mishap occurred about 20 km from Hazaribagh town and traffic was disrupted for some time, he added.
The cleaner of the tanker suffered serious injuries and is being treated at a nearby hospital, the OC added.
