Differences in AAP on forming govt, personally against it: Kejriwal

AAP convener Arvind Kejriwal today said he is personally against his party forming the government in Delhi even as he admitted there are divided opinions within it on assuming powwer.
He also alleged that "many crores" of rupees have been spent by "very big" political and vested interests to create a "division" between him and Anna Hazare.
Describing Hazare as "my guru" who lives "in his heart", the estranged protege of the Gandhian said there are people who believe that their coming together will be more powerful than an "atom bomb".
To a question about the rift between the Hazare camp and AAP, Kejriwal maintained that, "Anna is my guru. He is in my heart."

"There are very big political and vested interests in the country who feel that the coming together of Annaji and Kejriwal will be more powerful than an atom bomb," the AAP leader told Times Now.
"Many crores have been spent to create a division between me and Annaji" he alleged.

Asked to elaborate on the political and vested interests, Kejriwal, without taking names, merely said," All wrong people in every party have spent many crores of rupees to keep us apart for their vested interest."
Kejriwal said he was personally against forming a government with the support of Congress or BJP but decided go to people for a referendum after difference of opinion emerged among the party members and the people.

He said that he would respect and follow the "people's verdict", whether it was against or for the party.
The AAP leader said there was divided opinion and during the meeting of MLAs, a section was of the view that AAP should not shy away from forming the government as Congress was extending unconditional support and also they won't interfere and we should implement our party's agenda.
"I was personally against the forming of a government. Because we had maintained that we won't take support from or give to Congress or BJP. But off late, a section of people started to say that we should form the government while another section was opposed to it, so we decided to go back to people to decide," he said.

He, however, went on to say that the final decision on forming a government in Delhi will be arrived at on Sunday night and announced on Monday.
AAP had yesterday decided to seek people's opinion through SMS, mails, and phone on whether the party should form the government or not with outside support from the Congress. AAP with 28 seats is the second largest party in the 70-member Delhi Assembly. Congress has eight.
