Dikshit releases book on easy Ayurvedic home remedies

A booklet on easy home Ayurvedic remedies using herbal plants was released by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit here today.
The booklet, jointly brought out by Brahm Prakash Ayurvedic Charak Sansthan, Khera Dabar and Delhi Parks and Garden Society under Department of Environment, disseminates medicinal characteristics of large number of herbal plants which could be home-grown.
Meanwhile, Dikshit today inaugurated the work on laying of PNG pipelines in Lady Hardinge Medical College Colony near Panchkuian road here.
Speaking on this occasion, Dikshit stated that the Piped Natural Gas (PNG) supply would be a continuous source for the kitchens, it was safe as well as cheaper than the LPG.

The supply of PNG is reliable and hassle-free as there is no need of waiting for the cylinders to be delivered, she said adding that the government has several steps to make the lives of the city's citizens more comfortable.
