A physically challenged man committed suicide by jumping before a train alleging police excess in his suicide note in Chaubeypur village.
40-year-old Santosh Mishra, a resident of Shivli, jumped before a train coming from Farrukhabad last evening and died on the spot, police said.
In the suicide note recovered from him, Santosh alleged that he was facing harassment at the hands of police and he was being repeatedly called at police station in false cases.
Police, however, rejected the allegations claiming that Santosh was a drug addict and used to beat his wife and children.
On a complaint against him, police had called him for questioning at the police station but he was not harassed, police said.
