Chairman of DISCOM's special maintenance programme R G Gupta cautioned the officials, saying that if such accident occurred now onwards, the employees would be responsible and action would be taken against them.
Gupta issued fresh orders that electricity distribution system should be strengthened and there should be an objective of "zero accident" by repairing the faulty or damaged electricity lines in entire state.
Electricity supply maintenance would be taken up from June 16 to August 14, 2014, quoting the chairman an official spokesman said here.
Power shut down and connectivity should also be ensured while doing the maintenance works to avoid any inconvenience to consumers both in villages and cities, he said.
