Disproportionate assets case against senior railway official

The CBI today registered a case against Alladaboina Satish, a former senior divisional engineer with South Central Railway, Guntur Division, for possessing assets disproportionate to known sources of income.
Satish is at present deputy chief engineer (design), North East Frontier Railway, Guwahati.
He allegedly acquired disproportionate assets of Rs 64 lakh when he was posted at Guntur with the South Central Railway between 2008 to 2015.
The case was registered under the Prevention Of Corruption Act and searches were conducted at his and his family members' houses at Guwahati, Tanuku and Kakinada. Some documents were seized, a CBI release said.
