District committee set up on skill training proposals

Tamil Nadu Government has constituted a Tirupur District Level Committee to evaluate the proposals submitted by the skill training partners to the state Skill Development Corporation (TNSDC).
The committee comrpises the District Collector as its Chairman, a convener and ten members, including Tirupur Exporters' Association President A Shaktivel.
It would scrutinise and evaluate the proposals on demand depending upon the nature of proposal submitted by the skill training partners to recommend the same to Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, Shaktivel said.
