DMK chief praises ISRO for successful launch of ASTROSAT

DMK President M Karunanidhi today congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation for the successful launch of ASTROSAT.
"I congratulate ISRO Chairman A S Kiran Kumar, other scientists and the Centre for the successful launch of ASTROSAT," he said in a statement.
Yesterday, India successfully launched ASTROSAT, its maiden dedicated space observatory aimed at undertaking a more detailed understanding of the universe, and six foreign satellites, including four from US, on board PSLV-C30 from the spaceport of Sriharikota.
