government has placed district medical officer (DMO) of Anjaw district under suspension to facilitate a fair enquiry in order to initiate formal disciplinary action against him.
Dr Tayi Taloh, the DMO, was placed under suspension on the basis of written complaint received from the Deputy Commissioner of Anjaw and on the basis of preliminary report submitted by Dr Hage Tabyo, Additional Director of Health Services cum Director of Family Welfare, Naharlagun as Enquiry Officer.
As per the prima facie report submitted by Dr Tabyo, Dr Taloh was found to be misusing government vehicle for his personal use at his home town for long period that was meant for IMR Programme, an official communique informed here today.
It was also reported that Dr Taloh did not reply to the show cause notice served by the concerned authority to him twice.
