Doherty thanks mother for support during her cancer battle

Actress Shannen Doherty has thanked her mother for her support during her battle against cancer with a heartfelt message on social media.
The 45-year-old actress, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in February 2015 and revealed recently it has since been detected in her lymph nodes, has penned a message to her mother Rosa on social media for being "so strong" throughout her fight against the disease, reported Female First.
The former "Beverly Hills, 90210" star posted a black and white photograph of her laying on her parents lap.
"Sometimes there's nothing like a mothers love to help get you thru. Thank you mom for always being there and being so strong for me. I love you. #mamarosa #cancersucks #fightlikeagirl (sic)," she captioned the image.
