The 35-year-old actor is in final talks to join the fantasy movie, which will be based on the successful Blizzard Entertainment video game 'World of Warcraft', reported The Wrap.
Duncan Jones will direct the motion picture, which will be set in a world of werewolves, zombies, dragons and other mythical creatures, while Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing the movie.
Paula Patton and Colin Farrell are thought to have signed up for the film.
"I don't know what's happening, man. I read the script, if that's any use to you, and it's amazing. I sat with Duncan for awhile and read the script, loved the script, and we were as cool as can be," Farrell had said.
