Don't charge women from unauthorised colonies for property registration: BJP to Delhi govt

Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari on Wednesday demanded that women from unauthorised colonies not be charged for registration of property and given ownership rights.

He also accused Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal of trying to create a misconception that the Centre is against unauthorised colonies.

The women in unauthorised colonies should not be charged for the registration of property and given ownership rights, Tiwari said.

When asked about the BJP leader's demand, Kejriwal said, "We will look into it."
