The donut shop where singer Ariana Grande was filmed licking un-purchased donuts on display trays and saying, "I hate America," has failed a health inspection.
Riverside County's Department of Environmental Health has downgraded Wolfee Donuts' rating from "A" to "B", reported Ace Showbiz.
According to the inspection report, Wolfee Donuts in Lake Elsinore, California was told one of the reasons for it not passing the inspection was due to "customers licking donuts incorrectly placed on counter."
The report said the donut tray should not have been put on top of display case where anyone could touch it.
A manager told the inspector that the employee didn't know Grande, 22, had licked the donuts and "placed them back in display case for sale."
Wolfee Donuts has been given a week to correct the problems but will not be closed as a result.
The "Problem" singer hasn't commented on the issue yet.
Grande had earlier issued an apology for her "I hate America" remarks, saying, "I am EXTREMELY proud to be an American and I've always made it clear that I love my country. What I said in a private moment with my friend, who was buying the donuts, was taken out of context and I am sorry for not using more discretion with my choice of words.
