Dr Lal PathLabs Q1 net up 30 pc at Rs 40 cr

Diagnostic chain Dr Lal PathLabs today reported a 29.66 per cent rise in its standalone net profit at Rs 40.17 crore for the June quarter.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 30.98 crore for the corresponding period of the previous fiscal, Dr Lal PathLabs said in a filing to BSE.
Standalone total income from operations of the company also rose to Rs 222.84 crore for the quarter under review as against Rs 189.31 crore for the same period a year ago.
Dr Lal PathLabs Chairman and MD Arvind Lal said: "Our continuous initiatives to innovate and expand have enabled us stay ahead on our growth curve, in a sector which we believe is highly dynamic and competitive."
Shares of Dr Lal PathLabs today closed at Rs 970.50 per scrip on BSE, up 0.94 per cent from its previous close.
