Dr Renu Jain was appointed as vice chancellor of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Vishwa Vidyalaya (DAVV) on Thursday, a Raj Bhavan official said.
Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, in her capacity as chancellor of state universities, appointed Jain as vice chancellor of the Indore-based varsity, he said.
Professor Jain is currently head of the School of Mathematics at Jiwaji University, Gwalior.
