Drake and his Hollywood PR firm ID have reportedly parted ways after the rapper was bumped from a recent Rolling Stone cover for late actor Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Drake, 27, had been working with ID for the past year to handle publicity for third album 'Nothing Was the Same', as well as his current 'Would You Like a Tour?', reported the New York Post.
Drake and ID apparently split after he ranted on Twitter over losing a Rolling Stone cover to Hoffman, who died recently of an suspected drug overdose.
"I'm disgusted with that. RIP to Phillip Seymour Hoffman. All respect due. But the press is evil. I'm done doing interviews for magazines. I just want to give my music to the people. That's the only way my message gets across accurately," he had posted.
Drake had not shown up for several other magazine shoots and TV appearances the firm had arranged, leaving editors and executives grousing about Drake's management team.
Drake also had an ugly split with another firm, the Chambers Group, after he got into a screaming match with a female publicist and ordered her out an elevator they were riding in at New York's London/NYC Hotel.
