Driver commits suicide over harassment by employers

A 30-year-old driver committed suicide by consuming poison over alleged harassment by his employers in Rampuri here, police said today.
Victim Rishipal, who worked as a driver for Sandeep and his son Shivam, took the extreme step yesterday by consuming poison, police said.
Rishipal's wife, Rachna, lodged an FIR alleging that her husband was highly tensed due to constant harassment by his employers, they said.
The father-son duo have been booked for abatement to suicide (Section 306 of IPC), police said.
Meanwhile, in another incident, a 60-year-old unidentified man allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a tree in Bariwala village in the district, police said.

His body was found hanging yesterday from a tree by the locals and has been sent for postmortem.
Both the matters are under investigation, police added.
