Trained drivers of Haryana transport department, who would be engaged as Skilled Driver Instructors on contract basis after their retirement, would impart training to trainee drivers at these schools, an official spokesperson said today.
He said that initially two training buses at each location would be provided and these buses would have dual driving controls. One instructor per training bus would be engaged, he added.
He said with this facility put in place at all district headquarters, the youth of the state would not have to go outside the state for getting training in driving heavy transport vehicles.
Further, this would also help in removing the shortage of trained drivers for driving heavy transport buses in the state, he said.
