"Kathua Police seized a huge consignment of intoxicant capsules and arrested the drug peddler involved in the supply of these to the youths in the adjoining areas of the district," a police spokesman said.
The accused has been identified as Roshan Kumar of Kathua.
"A police party laid a checkpoint at Indra Colony Kathua and intercepted one scooty driven by Roshan Kumar. During the search of the vehicle, police recovered around 2000 Spm-Prx capsules from his possession," the spokesman said.
