Police identified the accused as Karamjit Singh alias Happy hailing from Gobindpura, Banga, presently residing in local New Sukhchain Nagar.
Happy was arrested from local Banga road during a routine check, police said.
He has been booked under relevant sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, police said.
