Drunk man shoots at minor son after fight with wife

A man allegedly shot at his six-year-old son in an inebriated state after a fight with his wife in Pannapur village here, police said today.
The incident took place under Raya police station yesterday.
"It is true that Ramesh, in drunken state, shot at his six-year-old son Jayant on a cheek after an altercation with his wife," Deputy SP Mahaban Rajendra Prasad Yadav said.
"Though the pellet has crossed both the cheeks of the child, yet he is out of danger," he said.
Rames is absconding, he added.
