"The incident took place around 1:15 AM when a car ran over four people, which include rickshaw pullers and other homeless, sleeping over the pavement near Inderlok metro station," said Madhur Verma, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North).
All four injured were rushed to Bara Hindu Rao hospital, where their condition is said to be stable.
"Occupants of the car, according to eyewitnesses there were three, managed to flee the spot. Efforts are on to nab them," said Verma.
