Dry weather prevails in UP

Weather remained dry all over Uttar Pradesh today while heat wave conditions prevailed at isolated places in eastern parts of the state.
According to a MET department report here, day temperatures appreciably rose in Agra and Meerut divisions and changed little in the remaining divisions of the state.
Temperatures were appreciably above normal in Gorakhpur, Varanasi, Faizabad, Allahabad, Kanpur, Lucknow, Bareilly, Agra, Meerut divisions; above normal in Jhansi division and normal in Moradabad division.
Highest temperature at 45.6 degree Celsius was recorded at Banda.
The weatherman has forecast that weather would be dry for the next few days and heat wave conditions would continue at isolated places.
