The drive was conducted for two hours in the morning from 8 am to 10 am in the west region.
According to DTC, officers including regional managers and depot managers were deployed at 40 different points to monitor the drive.
An official of the DTC said that during the course of checking, ticket-less travelling by commuters, travelling beyond destination, non-issue of tickets by conductors after collecting fare, rash driving and improper parking of bus by driver, non stoppage of bus at proper bus stop and crew uniform was checked.
The checking was carried out in Palika Kendra, Parliament Street, RML Hospital, Jhandewalan, Rajendra Place, East Patel Nagar, Shadipur Depot, Karampura Terminal, among other places.
The drive will be regular and carried out periodically in other regions also, the official said.
