DTC to introduce 'Aam Aadmi Bypass Express' service

A new bus service - Aam Aadmi Bypass Express - will be introduced by Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) in the national capital on Monday.
Buses, under this service, will ply from Uttam Nagar bus terminal to Sarai Kale Khan ISBT, connecting three National Highways -- NH-1, NH-10 and NH-24, a DTC official said today.
"Buses on this route will be operated via Vikas Puri Mod, District Centre (Janak Puri), Outer Ring Road up to Wazirabad Outer Ring Road, Majnu Ka Tila, ISBT (Kashmere Gate), Yamuna Bazar, under Geeta Colony Flyover/Vijay Ghat, Raj Ghat and then Ring Road up to Sarai Kale Khan ISBT," he said.

"Both, AC and Non-AC buses will be operated on the route on normal fare," the official said.
The bus crew have been directed to use slip road instead of flyover where the slip road is available for the alighting and boarding convenience of the commuters at bus stops.
