The yatra comprising of raths, jhankies, bands and vehicles will start at 12 noon from Parade Ground opposite Red Fort and pass through Netaji Subhash Marg, Asaf Ali Road, Ajmeri Gate, Shardhanand Marg, Khari Baoli, Fatehpuri, Chandni Chowk and return to Parade Ground.
"Since the procession will move on heavily congested roads of North and Central Delhi, it will affect the movement of traffic from 12 noon to 8 pm, along and in the vicinity of the route.
Commuters coming from South Delhi and New Delhi areas and wanting to go to Old Delhi Railway Station and ISBT can use Ring Road, Chhatta Rail road and S P Mukherjee Marg.
Commuters coming from North Delhi and going towards New Delhi Railway Station can use Rani Jhansi Road, Panchkuian Road and Chelmsford Road, said police.
