Admissions to over 60,000 seats in DU's various undergraduate courses began yesterday and the online registration will conclude on June 19.
Every year before the admission process begins for its undergraduate courses, Delhi University conducts "Open Days", or sessions to which students and parents are invited to get their admission-related queries addressed by DU staff.
However, while in recent years the maximum queries used to be about courses, colleges, relaxation, cut-offs and best-four percentage among others, this year the focus is only on the online process.
Another admission seeker said, "there are certain processes, you register and make payment later, chose options and then select the required subject..All these things used to be much easier when my elder brother studied at Ramjas".
Queries about upgradation of marks, the criteria for those who are applying after a gap year, deduction in marks because of stream change, choice of academics and electives, were among few other queries raised during a packed session.
On June 8-9, open days will be held at Zakir Hussain College and at South Campus on June 10-11.
The first cut-off list will be announced on June 27 and the varsity will release only five cut-off lists.
