The Dutch national Verweij Teunis's body was found at platform number 2 last night with his back resting on a pole, Government Railway Police (GRP) Inspector D K Joshi said.
"The body has been sent for post-mortem at Hamadia hospital and we are waiting for the report to be out by evening to know the exact reason behind the death," he said.
Teunis, who hailed from Netherlands, was possibly waiting at the platform to board a train when he died with his back resting on a pole.
There was no injury mark on Teunis's body and he was on a tourist visa, issued on December 15, which was scheduled to expire on March 14, the officer added.
Police said that the Dutch embassy has been informed about it.
