E-courts will help reduce case pendency: Khurshid

"We have set up e-courts, through which fast tracking of cases can be done. However, more e-courts are to be set up in the near future," he said inaugurating a library at Saket district court here.

"In the next two-three years we can see a difference in the pendency of cases before the various court in India," the Law Minister said.

He promised more funds and better infrastructure to the lawyers for developing legal skills. "During my tenure as a Law Minister, I will try to give more and more funds for development of the legal fraternity so that lawyers develop more and more skill," he said.

The programme was attended by Delhi High Court Acting Chief Justice A K Sikri, Justice B D Ahmed and Saket court District Judge R K Gauba.
