Eagle Scales targets Rs 100-cr revenue in current fiscal

Electronic weighing scales maker Eagle Scales is targeting to clock a revenue of Rs 100 crore in this financial year from last fiscal's Rs 75 crore, a top company official has said.
"In the electronic weighing scales market, we have a market share of more than 12 per cent and the revenue last fiscal was Rs 75 crore. We are targeting a revenue of Rs 100 crore this fiscal", said Noorudding Kantawala, MD of the Pune-based E G Kantawala group.
Eagle is present in the entire spectrum of electronic weighing scales market and plans are on anvil to enter the growing health segment, he told reporters here today.
In West Bengal, the company has a big market share, he said, adding that the state contributes around 15-20 per cent of total revenue.
