According to the Met officials, Kaiserganj and Elgin Bridge experienced 44 cms of rainfall, Furstaganj 36 cms, Bahraich 34 cms, Sirauligauspur 21 cms, Bhinga 20 cms, Barabanki and Kakardarighat 18 cms each.
Fatehpur and Haidergarh received 16 cms of rainfall, Dhauraha 13 cms, Rae Bareli 12 cms, Ramnagar 11 cms, Balrampur 9 cms, Katernaighat and Nighasan 8 cms, Sardanagar, Gonda, Faizabad, Nawabganj 7 cms each, the officials said.
Other places to receive rainfall were Neemsar, Uttraula, Domariaganj (6 cms each), Lucknow, Ramsanehighat, Basti, Akbarpur, Phoolpur and Lakhimpur (5 cms each).
Rain or thundershowers would occur at isolated places in east UP tomorrow.
