Eastern Railways beat Chhattisgarh

In closely contested matches, Eastern Railways defeated Chattisgarh and Kerala Police beat South Central Railway in the 14th CRI Pumps Trophy Basketball for women here today.
In the first match, Railway women outsmarted Chhattisgah 89-87 at the whistle.
Madhukumari and Libina scored 21 points each for the winners, while Saranjeet Kaur scored 28 and Poonam Chaturvedi 23 for the losers.
In the second match, Kerala Police beat South Central Railway 55-54, with Lijimol scoring 21 for police team and Gayathri 15 for the Railways.
