The ED had attached the properties of former state drug controller Y K Jaiswal in his name and that of his family valued at Rs 1.13 crore in March this year.
But, it got the confirmation from Adjudicating Authority under PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act) last week, sources in the ED office said here today.
"After the order from the Adjudicating Authority now the ED can now take possession of the attached properties of the officer," they said.
The moveable properties include several bank fixed deposits, life insurance policies and investment in share markets, they said.
"These properties are acquired in the name of Y K Jaiswal, his wife, son and daughters," they added.
