The 26-year-old singer's brief appearance on the HBO's popular TV series received a mixed response, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Sheeran did not provide any kind of explanation to fans. The "Thinking Out Loud" singer, however, is still there on Instagram.
The singer earlier said that he has decided not to be active on the microblogging website as the platform is mostly used to humiliate others.
"Ive actually come off Twitter completely. I cant read it. I got on it and theres nothing but people saying mean things. Twitters a platform for that. One comment ruins your day. But thats why Ive come off it," Sheeran had said at the time.
