A host of Corrie stars including Brooke Vincent, Jennie McAlpine, Katie McGlynn and Tina O'Brien, joined 23-year-old Sheeran on the set at the old Granada Studios on Quay Street in Manchester, reported Daily Mirror.
The performance celebrated Manchester radio station Key 103's 40th anniversary.
Sheeran performed a 40-minute set from the living room of 'Coronation Street' character Carla Connor, while cast members watched from Gail Platt's living room.
The pop star was introduced by Key 103's breakfast DJs Mike Toolan and Chelsea Norris.
"It's a great big celebration for us tonight. And to celebrate in an iconic location like Coronation Street, with Ed Sheeran, has been fantastic," said Norris.
