Edible, non-edible oils drop on subdued demand

Groundnut oil prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today due to subdued demand from stockist and retailers.
Refined palmolein fell further due to lack of buying support.
In non-edibles, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial slipped owing to reduced demand from shippers and soap manufacturers.
Meanwhile, linseeds oil ruled stable in the absence of any large-scale buying activity.
In the edible section, groundnut oil declined by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 780 from Monday's closing level of Rs 785 and refined palmolein moved-down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 563 as against Rs 565 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 25 per 100kg to Rs 4,150 from Rs 4,175 and castoroil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10kg to Rs 860 as compared to Rs 865 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 760 per 10kg.
