Edible, non-edibles decline on sluggish trade

Groundnutoil prices dropped in an otherwise sluggish Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here today on lower demand from stockists and retailers.
While, refined palmolein slid further owing to lack of retail buying support.
In the non-edibles, castorseeds and castoroil commercial slipped further on subdued offtake from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
Linseedoil also eased due to reduced demand from paint and allied industries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil fell by Rs 10 per 10 kg to Rs 980 from Friday's closing level of Rs 990 and refined palmolein moved down by Rs 3 per 10kg to Rs 623 as compared to Rs 626 yesterday.

Moving to non-edible segment, castorseeds bold declined Rs 25 per 100 kg to Rs 3,950 from overnight close of Rs 3,975 and castoroil commercial went down by Rs 5 per 10 kg to 820 from 825.
Linseedoil also eased Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 870 as against Rs 875 previously.
