Edible oils decline on poor demand

Groundnut oil prices slipped at the Vashi oils and oilseeds market here today on reduced offtake from stockist and retailers amid ample supply positions.
Refined palmolein moved down further owing to poor demand from retailers on the back of bearish Malaysian cues.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial regained due to renewed demand from shippers and soap manufacturing units.
Linseed oil maintained a stable trend in the absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the edible section, Groundnut oil eased by Rs 5 per 10 kg to Rs 770 from Friday's closing level of Rs 775 and refined palmolein edged-down by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 628 from Rs 630.

Moving to non-edible segment, castoroseeds bold gained by Rs 10 per 100 kg to Rs 4,025 from overnight close of Rs 4,015 and castoroil commercial added by Rs 2 per 10kg to Rs 835 as compared Rs 833 previously.
Linseeds oil remained unaltered at Rs 850 per 10kg.
