Edibles and non-edible drops on subdued demand

Groundnut oil prices dropped further at the Vashi oils and oilseeds wholesale market here on subdued demand from stockist and retailers on the back of ample arrivals from producing belts.
Refined palmolein declined further owing to reduced demand from retailers.
While, linseeds oil ruled steady following absence of any worthwhile buying activity.
In the non-edible section, castorseeds bold and castor oil commercial dipped due to lower demand from shippers and soap industries.
In the edible segment, groundnutoil eased by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 1,010 from Monday's closing level of Rs 1,020. and refined palmolein fell by Rs 7 per 10kg to Rs 505 from Rs 512.

Moving to non-edible segment, Castorseeds bold dipped by Rs 50 per 100kg to Rs 4,250 from Rs 4,300 and castoroil commercial moved down by Rs 10 per 10kg to Rs 880 as against Rs 890 previously.
Linseedoil closed unchanged at Rs 775 per 10kg.
