The action was taken with the help police. Three factories were vacated by their owners themselves, said a senior EDMC officer.
The civic body officials also demolished illegal construction and commercial activities in residential areas of Ghoanda and Brahmpuri in Shahdara (North) zone.
Two shops each were sealed at 100 Foota Road and Netaji Subhash Marg for running commercial activities without paying conversion charges. Five shops were sealed in Dilshad Colony for same reason, the official said.
