Educationist B P Kesri passes away

Notable educationist Prof B P Kesri has passed away in Ranchi district last night, family sources said. He was in his 80s.
In his condolence message, Chief Minister Raghubar Das said Kesri, besides being an educationist, knew the plight of Jharkhand.
The void created by his death would not be fulfilled, an official release said.
Das directed to accord state funeral to Kesri, the release said.
In another message, Das mourned the martyrdom of Commandant Prabhat Kumar, who hailed from Jharkhand's Jamtara, in Jammu and Kashmir. His sacrifice would not go in vain, Das said.
