Recalling PURA vision of former President A P J Abdul Kalam, Das said development works were being expedited as the poor and tribals in the villages have the right to get services like road, electricity, water, irrigation, school, health and other such facilities.
Alleging that some people were doing politics by misleading the masses, Das said without the permission land would not be taken and land givers would be given four times the cost of the land, which would be used for hospitals, schools and other things, an official release said here.
He also said foundation for a flyover in Ranchi would be laid on October 2, adding metro services would also be constructed to smoothen traffic and roads were being widened.
He said vegetable vendors too would get the same arrangement.
Stating that the government intended to put Ranchi among the top cities in the country, he said efforts were also on to make Ranchi a medical and IT hub and tourism city and that Infosys help was being taken for the former.
Das said the government was pondering over to give Sadar hospital to Narayan Hridalaya and Dr Sethi would come in August first week and added Hyderabad's famous Pancreas hospital's Dr Rao would also open a hospital in Ranchi and ten acres land would be given for it, the release said.
Das appealed to the youth to begin startup and the government would help them.
