Eight killed, 20 injured in bus-lorry collision in TN

Eight persons, including two minor children were killed and 20 injured when a state bus in which they were travelling collided with another vehicle at a village near Pollachi in the district today, police said.
The victims include a four-year-old boy, a four-month-old girl and four women, police said.
The bus was on its way to Pollachi from Palladam when it collided with a goods lorry at Karumapuram.
The bus was mangled under the impact of the collision, police said, adding, the injured have been hospitalised.
